On December 15^th, 2016, the opening ceremony of the 6^th China International Copyright Expo took place in Guangzhou on the theme “Exhibition of Copyright Achievements, Copyright Protection Enhancement and Industry Development Guidance”. The ceremony was highlighted by the announcement of the winners of the 2016 China Copyright Gold Awards, including six awards for creation, five for promotion and application, five for protection and four for management. The awards for creation went to Qingtong and Kuihua by Cao Wenxuan, English-Chinese Dictionary published by Shanghai Translation Publishing House, the online novel Nirvana in Fire by Hai Yan, the film Wolf Totem produced by China Film Co., Ltd, the Emind Operating System designed by Emindsoft Co., Ltd and the TV drama Haitangyijiu produced by Hebei Film and TV Production Center. The awards for promotion and application went to Foreign Languages Press Co., Ltd, Shenzhen Tencent Computer System Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Network Radio and TV Station, Time Publishing and Media Co., Ltd. and Ningxia STC Digital Technology Co., Ltd.
