As of January 1^st, 2017, the CTMO (China Trademark Office) will send trademark registration certificates directly to registrants without sending the Notification on Collection of Trademark Registration Certificate. In the meantime, the CTMO will gradually implement electronic trademark registration certificates. Trademark certificates for which registration is published in January 2017 and later will no longer be laminated.
