   The China Intellectual Property News developed its current reputation based on its former status as the China Patent News, the title of which was inscribed by Deng Xiaoping, general designer of China’s Reform and Opening-up and Modernization policy. The China Patent News published its first issue on April 1st, 1989, and changed its name to the China Intellectual Property News on July 1st, 1999. The China Intellectual Property News is currently administered by the State Intellectual Property Office and hosted by the China Intellectual Property News Office.
