On December 19th, 2014 after assessment by the Evaluation Committee composed of judges from Shanghai courts at all levels, representatives from various industry associations, members of the National People’s Congress and specialists and scholars, Watson & Band was inducted into the Shanghai Court’s Register of Top-Tier Bankruptcy Administrators with overwhelming support, thereby becoming one of Shanghai’s ten top-tier bankruptcy administrators.

Organizations admitted to the Register are qualified to undertake important and complex bankruptcy cases in Shanghai, including cases involving large-scale bankruptcy liquidation as well as the restructuring of securities companies, banks, guarantee companies, enterprise groups and large state-owned enterprises.

Back in December 2007 Watson & Band was admitted to the Shanghai Judicial Register of First Bankruptcy Administrators after fierce competition, thereby becoming one of the first twelve law firms qualified as bankruptcy administrators in Shanghai. During the most recent assessment of the expansion of bankruptcy administration and the execution of the ranking plan organized by the Shanghai Higher People’s Court, due to its extraordinary professionalism and dedication Watson & Band stood out from the sixty-five candidate law firms and other agencies that qualify as bankruptcy administrators, and was thereby listed in the Shanghai Judicial Register of Top-Tier Bankruptcy Administrators.
