Recently Watson & Band was awarded the 2012-2013 Shanghai Trademark Agent Integrity Unit by the Shanghai Trademark Association. Watson & Band has won this award every year since 2006, when the Shanghai Trademark Association began offering this honor to trademark agents.

The selection for the award was organized by the Shanghai Trademark Association and supported by the Shanghai Administration for Industry and Commerce. The purposes of the award are to help implement the new Trademark Law; to promote the healthy development of the Shanghai trademark agency industry; to perfect the professional regulation and activities of trademark agents; and to encourage honesty, market order and fair competition. The association examines application materials, conducts spot inspections, visits clients, and processes preliminary examinations for the applicant. An evaluation board composed of representatives of the trademark association, the AIC and industry enterprises make the final decision on the award.
