In November 2015 W&B was listed in the Asian Legal Business (“ALB”) report, “Asia’s Largest Law Firms of 2015”. The rankings and a corresponding research report were published in the November issue of the ALB magazine.

The ranking short-listed 50 firms headquartered or having a presence in Asia. Research for the award commenced in September 2015 and weighed a comprehensive set of factors including the number of offices and the numbers of partners, practicing lawyers and solicitors. Even though this was the first time that W&B participated has the research, it finally emerged from the crowd as a dark-horse candidate. 

ALB is an independent publisher of legal news and the latest legal dynamics. It is an influential provider of legal intelligence, including rankings of law firms and in-house counsel and information about legal service suppliers in the Asia-Pacific region. ALB issues its selections annually from law firms, in-house counsel and other legal service professionals. Honors are awarded to the most outstanding firms specializing in a variety of fields. “Asia’s 50 Largest Law Firms of 2015” is the fourth award that W&B has won this year -- ALB also named W&B “Shanghai Law Firm of the Year”, “Bankruptcy and Restructuring Law Firm of the Year” And “Notable M&A Law Firm of the Year”.
