Mr. Yizhou Liu graduated from the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and has been with Watson & Band Law Offices since the beginning of his legal career. He currently serves as the Secretary General of the Management Board of Watson & Band.

In 2016, two cases Mr. Liu represented were recognized among the "Top 10 Cases of Judicial Protection for IP Rights for the Year 2015" by the Shanghai High People's Court: the Jin Yong copyright infringement case against an online game operator and a trademark infringement case concerning the geographic indication of "West Lake Long Jing".
In 2017, Mr. Liu and his team successfully helped a well-known Italian luxury brand be identified as a well-known trademark in China for the first time during an enforcement action. Additionally, the team secured a preliminary injunction from the Shenzhen Court, effectively curbing infringement in the relevant stores during litigation proceedings.
