Yiqi Cai, a partner at Watson & Band Law Offices, holds an LLB degree from the Law School of Shanghai International Studies University and an LLM degree from the University of Southern California. She is a licensed attorney in China and is also admitted to the U.S. New York Bar Association.

Ms. Cai has carved a niche in handling complex legal issues related to foreign investment, M&A, real property and customs.  She has successfully facilitated numerous multinational corporations in establishing and expanding their operations in China. Notable clients include KLA-Tencor, Sanmina, Applied Materials, and Oriental DreamWorks. Her comprehensive legal support spans the entire investment process, from selecting the investment model and constructing facilities to negotiating lease of workshops or offices and managing daily corporate governance.  

In addition to her expertise in foreign investments, Ms. Cai has extensive experience in real estate transactions. She is adept at drafting transaction documents, negotiating contracts, and providing pertinent legal advice under PRC law.  Her role often extends to serving as legal counsel for various foreign-invested companies, offering ongoing legal support across diverse operational aspects.
